JMB Psychology Pty Ltd provides online service from rural NSW servicing both Australian and International clientele.  Dr Julie-May Brown is a Clinical Psychologist, having completed eight years of University training, including a Bachelor Degree, Honours Degree, Clinical Doctorate and joint Sociology Degree.

For over a decade, Julie-May is proudly oriented towards EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing) therapy.  Although trained in multiple  modalities, Julie-May agrees that EMDR therapy far exceeds the efficiency and efficacy of alternate therapies.  It is therefore unsurprising that EMDR is internationally recognised as best practice and the most efficient treatment for trauma.  EMDR is powerful and cannot only resolve PTSD (and trauma and attachment symptoms) in the significant majority of cases, but can also alleviate the onset of PTSD following exposure to trauma.  Advanced training in EMDR is also recognised as efficacious in complex cases, including Dissociative Disorders.

More than twenty years of experience includes work in both private and public sectors, including former service as a Military Psychologist (CAPT), Centrelink, Disability Services Qld, Employee Assistance Services, eight years as a voluntary expert consultant for the EMDRAA Accreditation and Standards Committee, and fifteen years in private practice.  Julie-may completed EMDR training in 2008 and is acknowledged by the EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA) as an accredited EMDR Practitioner and former Consultant/Supervisor for clinicians. She is also regarded within Australia and New Zealand as a master EMDR clinician, who works within an ethical, multidisciplinary, solution focused framework.

Memberships and registrations include the EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA),  twenty years with the Australian Psychological Society (APS), The Australian Health Practitioners Registration Authority (AHPRA), The Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPi) and The International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD).
